Imagine the scene. Margaret Thatcher turns up at the Thatcher School of Government at some big UK university and, after shaking hands and posing for a few photos, 'The Birdie Song' suddenly starts playing over the PA, and students spontaneously break out into a carefully choreographed chicken dance routine.
Not likely to happen.
But in America? In America, anything is possible! Which is why George H W Bush got the surprise of his life when he visited the Bush School of Government at Texas A&M University recently, and, yes, the students performed a traditional Texan dance for him.
