The first few days of spring have not brought the weather to match for many areas of the country from heavy snow, gales and rain bringing power failure to Northern Ireland and cutting off thousands of homes to forcing Sellafield nuclear power station to close down.
For others though the snow brings another chance to get the sleds outs, throw snowballs and build snowmen and prepare for a weekend of fun.
