'Game Of Thrones' Renewed By HBO - Season 4 On Its Way - Jaime Lannister Will Be Pleased...

'Game Of Thrones' Gets Fourth Season - Official!

'Game of Thrones' fans will be delighted, but not surprised, to hear that their favourite epic, fantastical, bloody, warring, sexy drama has been renewed by HBO - Series 4 is on its way.

The third series has just begun airing on both sides of the Atlantic, and already drawn in huge numbers for its continuing saga, based on the books of George R. R. Martin.

'Game of Thrones', starring Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister, has won fans on both sides of the Atlantic

One person who'll be happy to receive this confirmed news is Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, the actor who plays Jaime Lannister. He recently told HuffPostUK, "I just hope we get renewed. What happens to Jaime Lannister in the next book is just breathtaking."

Martin's book series 'A Song Of Ice And Fire', still isn't finished and Martin has said he understands why fans worry the show will outpace the books.

Good news for Jaime Lannister - played by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau

"My dream chronology is that the books finish first, and I do have a considerable lead over them," Martin told The Hollywood Reporter. "It's true that they're moving faster than I am - the series has its own speed - but I don't see us catching up for another three years or so, by which time another book will be out.

"That should give them another two seasons of material. And while I'm writing the last book, they'd be making those."

'Game Of Thrones' Series 3 is currently being shown in the UK on Sky Atlantic, on Mondays at 9pm.
