Anaïs Bordier and Samantha Futerman may live on different continents, but after coming across each other on the internet the pair are convinced that they are twins, separated at birth.
The two women share the same birthday, were both born in South Korea and adopted at birth, and share an uncanny resemblance to one another.
According to the above report by KTLA, Los Angeles News and Video for Southern California, Anaïs is a fashion student living in London, while Samantha is an aspiring actress in Los Angeles.
Desperate to meet up, the duo have turned to funding website Kickstarter to raise the cash and a DNA test, to determine if they are in fact sisters.
And it looks as though they are in luck; the pair needed $30,000 to meet and have already exceeded that figure by $5,000.
