WATCH: Danny Boyle Tells Jon Stewart About Olympic Confusion

Danny Boyle has revealed he found organising the London 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony less creative than film-making, because he found himself bunkered down in corporate-speak for two years.

Speaking to Jon Stewart on the Daily Show in the US, in an episode to be aired tonight in the UK, the Oscar-winning director described the challenge of trying to keep his creativity alive throughout the "laborious process" which took more than two years of bringing the Ceremony to the stage.

Boyle was feted throughout the land for his imaginative take on many aspects of British life, both historical and contemporary, but he revealed how, throughout the preparations, he'd gone from meeting to meeting and had to get used to speaking in acronyms, and working out what they all meant!

The director also revealed what threats he used to get his own way, why it worked and what it was like working with HM The Queen...
