Police have confirmed that a six-year-old girl found with three missing women in an Ohio basement is the daughter of Amanda Berry, who disappeared ten years ago.
Berry went missing in 2003 when she was 16, after telling her sister she had managed to get a lift home from her job at Burger King.
She was found alongside Gina DeJesus and Michele Knight, who went missing separately in Cleveland in 2002 and 2004 respectively.

A neighbour alerted the police to their presence on Monday after hearing Berry's screams.
Police have three brothers in custody, who have been named as Ariel Castro, 52, his brother Pedro Castro, 54, and O'Neal Castro, 50.

Ariel Castro, who lived at the house, was a former school bus driver. It was revealed at a press conference on Tuesday that police had visited the house in January 2004 after child protection services filed a complaint against him for leaving a child either "intentionally or inadvertently" on a school bus. They left the house after no one answered the door.
An archived article from Fox News shows Pedro was at the scene of a dig after police received a tip off from a criminal about the location of Berry's body. It turned out to be false information. At the time Pedro Castro told Fox news: “That’s a waste of money.”

Cleveland Chief of Police Michael McGrath told reporters on Tuesday: "We will review the work we have done to find the girls over the last decade to try to understand if mistakes were made."
He refused to speculate on whether the women had been sexually abused, saying the details of the last ten years had not yet been discussed. He said they appeared to be in good health and added: "What these young girls went through, and if you would've saw them last night, you would have nothing but compassion and love in your heart for them."
The FBI is looking into two other properties in connection with the investigation.
