Former Pakistani cricketer turned politician, Imran Khan, has been 'badly' injured after falling off a lift carrying him up onto an election rally stage.
Footage from the event in the city of Lahore shows the Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) party leader falling from the platform along with two other men.
He can later be seen being carried to a car with cuts to his head.
A tweet from his ex-wife, Jemima, suggests he was knocked unconsciousness.
Initial reports suggested he was hurt badly but a PTI spokesman later told AFP said he was "alright" and was taken to hospital for first aid.
Pakistan's general elections will be held on Saturday where an estimated 86 million people will vote on the turbulent country's political future.
A number of attacks thought to have been carried out by the Pakistani Taliban have targeted pro-military and Islamist candidates.
The Taliban consider any party taking part in the democratic elections a viable target.
