The Saturdays' New Single 'Gentleman' Sees The Girls Dress Up As Men And Rap (LISTEN, VOTE)

The Saturdays Man Up

The Saturdays have channelled their inner bloke for the cover of their new upbeat single 'Gentleman'.

The track, which has debuted online (above), is the third single from their upcoming fifth studio album due for release later this year.

The song happens to have the same name as Psy's latest single 'Gentleman' and sees the girls on the hunt for the perfect man, as they revive a '90s urban pop sound.

Frankie, Mollie, Vanessa, Rochelle and Una namecheck a selection of possible 'perfect men', ranging from Ryan Gosling to Barack Obama and George Clooney.

Frankie said: “'Gentleman' is a totally different sound for us but it feels like a natural progression from 'What About Us'."

Mollie added: "Who knew you would hear The Saturdays rapping? We had so much fun in the studio messing around on this track.”

The accompanying video will see the girls not only as glamorous housewives but also dressed as their male love interests.

Rochelle said: "In the video, you definitely get to see us in a completely new light… dressed as men. It was definitely our most fun video shoot yet.”

The Saturdays last single ‘What About Us’ became their first number one. 'Gentleman' is released on 30 June.
