Gold iPads For Every Guest Staying At Burj Al Arab, Dubai's Outrageously Luxurious Hotel

Luxury Hotel Offering Gold iPads To Guests...
Gold & Co.

The Burj Al Arab, the "world's only 7-Star hotel" is redefining the boundaries of the absurdly luxurious by issuing every guest their own 24-carat gold iPad.

The devices will act as a "virtual concierge" giving the user information on all the ridiculously expensive hotel has to offer.

Heinrich Morio, Burj Al Arab’s general manager, said: "Our exclusive Burj Al Arab 24-carat gold iPads epitomise Jumeirah’s philosophy of 'stay different' and further enhance our guests’ experience during their stay."

The Burj Al Arab already has an iMac in each of its 202 rooms.

Rates start at an eye-watering £985 per night and the 'Royal Suite' can be yours for the bargain price of £12,339.

Peckish? You can sample the set menu in the Al Mahara restaurant and dine next to a giant fish tank for £280.

Amjad Ali, CEO of Gold & Co. London who make the iPads, said: "The 24-carat Gold Plated iPad is the ultimate in luxury accessories so it’s only natural that we wanted it to be paired with Burj Al Arab, the world’s finest hotel.

"The symmetry is obvious: Both the Gold Plated iPad and the hotel are unique in terms of quality, mystique and dare we say: Decadence.

"Quite simply, there is no hotel in the world like the Burj Al Arab and there is no accessory quite like the gold plated iPad."
