Charging mobile phones is one of those inconvenient niggles which makes you forget you're living in an age when carrying around a hyper-powerful digital computer in your pocket is normal.
So a new invention that promises to one day charge your phone completely in as little as 20 seconds is naturally pretty exciting.

The idea is the work of an Indian-American teenager Eesha Khare, who received $50,000 from the Intel Foundation Young Scientist Award for the idea.
