Villain General Zod has been unleashed in the latest trailer for Superman reboot 'Man of Steel'.
The menacing promo (above) shows the alien villain, played by Michael Shannon, threatening Earth and the last son of Krypton in a manner that could contest Benedict Cumberbatch's Khan for the title of Best Baddy.
'Fate of Your Planet' follows on from the full length trailer that came out about a month ago. In the new clip General Zod warns Superman/Clark Kent/Kal-El (Henry Cavill): "Surrender within 24 hours, or watch this world suffer the consequences."
Based on the DC Comics character Superman, the film will tell the much-loved character's origin story. Starring alongside Cavill and Shannon is Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White and Russell Crowe as Jor-El.
The film, directed by Zack Snyder and produced by Christopher Nolan, is out 14 June.
