Xbox: 'Don't Have An Internet Connection? Stick With The Xbox 360'

Gamer's rejoice! Microsoft does have a console for people who don't have an internet connection.

Unfortunately, it's the Xbox 360.

Gamers have given the new Xbox One console a somewhat hostile reaction since its launch last month - and this week's E3 announcements have done little to calm their fears. While the PS4 was launched with a fanfare of cheers - no resale fees, no loan restrictions - the Xbox has been troubled, with a focus on its complex digital rights rules and its need to check in online every 24 hours.

And they don't stop digging. In an interview at E3, Xbox chief Don Mattrick was asked what gamers should do if they don't have an internet connection. His response?

"Fortunately, we have a product for people who aren't able to get some form of connectivity, it's called Xbox 360."

Oof.
