Ipswich Re-Imagined As Giant Zelda Map For Switch Fringe Festival (PICTURES)

PICS: Entire Town Of Ipswich Transformed Into Zelda Map

The town of Ipswich has been transformed into a giant Zelda map by a British artist.

Created to help attendees of the Switch Fringe Festival, a not-for-profit annual music and arts bash, it re-imagines the town as a simple grid of adorable huts, paths and towers.

The iconic 16-bit style look was made by The Decibel Kid, as part of the theme of 'Re-imagining Ipswich'.

Judging by these original Zelda Maps it's an excellent job, and neatly captures the general feel of the town and the point of the festival.

Unfortunately the Zelda style map does come with some problems - the map notes that it is "neither accurate, nor to scale".

But when it looks this amazing, who cares?
