Amanda Seyfried has replaced Liv Tyler as the face of Very Irresistible Givenchy. Speaking about her new role, the actress told WWD, "It's an honest collaboration. I'm proud to be a part of [the brands I'm involved with] because what they do is really cool, especially Givenchy - they're so artistic. And I feel like I have a foot in the fashion industry now".
So - did her dress choice (a red Givenchy gown) to the Oscars Governors Ball influence the fashion house's decision when they were searching for a new model?
According to Nicholas Munafo, U.S. president for LVMH fragrance brands, "Amanda is a chic, sexy woman who is a perfect fit for Givenchy". Seyfried's love of the brand probably helped, though.
Seyfried has already shot the ad campaign, styled by Riccardo Tisci, which will launch across the pond in October. Karen from Mean Girls would be proud.
