The Queen of pop has wowed crowds across the UK but now it is the turn of the US of A. Beyonce dazzled as she lit up the stage at the Staples Centre in LA for the North American opening night of The Mrs Carter Show World Tour on Friday.
A vision in a sparkly beaded white peplum one piece by Ralph & Russo, the 31-year-old treated the audience to a host of hits including Single Ladies, Run the World (Girls) and Crazy In Love.
Her performance kicked off the first three-day BET festival ahead of the BET awards on Sunday night. The annual awards, now in its 13th year, celebrates black musicians, actors and athletes across a mix of genres including music, film and sport.
This year's nominees include Halle Berry, Serena and Venus Williams, Rhianna and of course Mrs Carter herself.
