Carla Bruni Makes Fashion Comeback With Vogue Paris Cover

Carla Bruni Makes Fashion Comeback With Vogue Paris Cover

Is Carla Bruni making a comeback? Vogue Paris editor Emmanuelle Alt has recruited her friend and model to cover and co-edit the Christmas issue of the magazine, which celebrates Bruni's career to date.

Shot by Mert & Marcus, Bruni poses for the cover girl spot in an unbuttoned denim shirt, carefully chosen to highlight those piercing blue eyes. It's certainly one of the most low-key Vogue covers we've seen in a while, but striking nonetheless.

In her editor's letter, Alt writes, "I first met Carla Bruni in my early 20s when she was just starting out as a model, and it has been a real pleasure to create this special Christmas issue with an old friend". Something tells us that Carla's modelling days aren't over yet.
