"I'm surprised - it's tough. I didn't kill someone, I just went out with someone younger. But there have been more positive reactions than negative ones."
On her own style:
"I'm quite unpolished, but I like to dress smartly at the same time. My style doesn't tend to change from day to night much. I do really like shorts, I have no idea how many pairs I own."
And her secret beauty weapon:
"I use MAC Face And Body Foundation in C5 [£26.50]. We get through so many bottles on The X Factor! I feel better with a tan and I've accepted ageing's just going to happen. I'm going to be one of those wrinkly old tanned women!"
