Karl Lagerfeld Celebrates Scottish Style With Chanel Metiers D'Art Show

Karl Lagerfeld made a trip to Edinburgh last night for the Chanel Metiers d'Art 2012/13 show, an annual collection which celebrates the work and craftsmanship of a particular fashion atelier. After the brand bought Scottish knitwear label Barrie earlier this year, Largerfeld explored the heritage of Scottish style with a cashmere and tartan-rich catwalk at Linlithgow Palace (the birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots).

Model of the moment, Cara Delevingne took to the catwalk alongside Stella Tennant and Edie Campbell, while editors faced the freezing cold Scottish weather under tartan blankets on the front-row. Take a look below to see highlights from the show:
