Well, it's the right colour, but we're not sure if Gwyneth Paltrow's Ralph Lauren dress at the Tiffany & Co Blue Book Ball at the Rockefeller Centre in New York hit too many other right notes.
She looks stunning, undeniably (that glossy mane, that makeup), but a) bias cut is always a hard silhouette to pull off, b) the cutout shoulders are a bit 80s and also make her posture look slopy, and c) the bunched-up sleeves look a little odd.
The butterfly brooch is exquisite, but this look's not in the same league as fellow guest Kate Hudson's fabulous Reem Acra choice. Agreed?
