What? The two medal-winning Olympians attended the launch of the new Range Rover in what looks to us like the most random celebrity event of the week. This is why:
1. The new 4X4 was launched at the Royal Ballet School in Richmond. This involved the car wading through a water pool that was almost a metre deep and then (according to the press release) "gracefully climbing a rocky causeway", which has taught us something new about the terrain of South West London.
2. There was a surprise performance from Dire Straits founder Mark Knopfler.
3. The celebrity count was as vast as it was eclectic. It included: Greg Rutherford, Yasmin Le Bon, David Gandy, Ben Shepherd, George Lamb, Julien McDonald, Alex James, Martin Johnson, Holly Vallance, Nick Candy, Karen Brady, Theo Paphitis, Nick Love, Kenny Logan, Kelly Hoppen, Kirstie Allsopp and Jimmy Carr (who was carrying a very small dog).
Needless to say, we are regretting last night's decision to hang out at Fashion's Night Out.
Some fit Olympians, in both senses of the word:
