Who better to bring history to the catwalk than the one and only Sarah Burton? Paris Fashion Week might be drawing to a close, but the Alexander McQueen Autumn/Winter 2013 show was worth waiting for.
The beauty of this collection was all in the detail. Peplum bodices and floor-sweeping capes were studded all-over, while pearl embellished headgear, gloves and heeled brogues added a sense of majesty to the shortened dome skirts and corsets.
