Downton Abbey came to LA last night as the female cast members of the hit Brit drama hosted a swanky cocktail party in North Hollywood.
Michelle Dockery, Joanna Froggatt and Elizabeth McGovern pulled out the stops for the special evening, flying the flag for refined, elegant style with just a sprinkling of American glamour. What a delight.
Arriving together to host the event which was attended by fellow stars and bigwigs from Hollywood, the trio wasted no time basking in the attention, and why not indeed. Michelle Dockery kept it simple in a sleek pencil dress with contrasting black accessories and minimal makeup. Joanna Froggatt upped the ante in a grey patterned shift, complete with a Hollywood blow-dry and smoky eyes. But it was Elizabeth McGovern's look that we enjoyed most. The 51-year-old American actress was striking in all-black separates, finished off perfectly with a hot red lip. Show 'em how it's done, Liz.
