What if Sonic The Hedgehog was a 3D, first-person modern video game - instead of the retro 2D platformer you know and love? Well actually it would probably look a bit like Nintendo and Sega's upcoming Sonic Lost World, with a slightly different camera angle.
But it might also look like this - a crazy, motion sickness-inducing version of Mirror's Edge, with added rings, loops and surprisingly scary fish. YouTube user Pipoca made this video to give us a sense of what Sonic might have been like had hardware been better, and Sega's game designers been much worse.
