Chris Brown Announces Plans To Quit Music

Chris Brown has announced he is considering quitting the music industry after the release of his upcoming album.

In a message aimed at his critics, he wrote on Twitter:

Referencing the time he was convicted of assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna, he added:

Brown and the music industry that supports him have faced near-constant criticism since the horrific event that took place before the 2009 Grammys.

And in May, it was revealed Brown had even received death threats via multiple anonymous calls to the office of his attorney, Mark Geragos, TMZ reported.
