Aston Merrygold from JLS has filmed a video to speak out against bullying as a poll reveals a quarter of kids have been bullied in the past year.

Aston says that he and his younger sister were verbally bullied at school, and that he was targeted because of his love of dancing. He says he also suffered racial abuse.

The video has been released to highlight the start of Anti Bullying Week (which this year has been extended for a month and will run throughout November), the theme of which is Stop and Think - Words Can Hurt.

Aston is an ambassador for the Beatbullying charity.
