Sick of walking into tube stations and realising that for the next hour you need to live 'without' your mobile phone.

Well, those days are over if you are an O2 customer. You can now not only surf the web, but by downloading the TU Go app you can make calls and texts while travelling on the London Underground.

According to O2's latest video, the network has teamed up with Virgin Media to keep you connected while travelling on the underground.

Could you be taking advantage of O2's WiFi access?

All you have to do is register with the O2 WiFi, and then you're ready to surf the web. Simply enter a London Underground hotspot, which can be found in 120 tubes stations across the city, then check out your available WiFi networks, which can normally be found under the settings option on your phone.

Then select Virgin Media WiFi, open your web browser and you'll see the portal. From here select 'Other Providers' and check O2 from the drop down list.

Finally, when you get to the registration page, enter your O2 mobile number and tick the terms and conditions box.

And you know the best thing about all this? Whenever you head back underground you will reconnect automatically. Easy!

For more ways to connect to your friends while on the go, check out the TU Go app.
