Duchess Of Cambridge's Official Portrait Dress? It's Made The Designers Rich

28/08/2013 09:57 | Updated 22 May 2015

Not only was the dress Kate Middleton wore for her family portrait photo a total bargain (£46 from maternity label Seraphine) but it sold out two hours after the photo was released. Shocker.

It's no new thing that ANYTHING the Duchess of Cambridge wears - the coats, the heels, the dresses, the Breton stripes - fast becomes a fashion sell out and her choice of dress for this photo occasion proves the case.

She's savvy, she's stylish and she's all about the pink so the fuschia pink Jolene dress was the perfect look for the first official picture of Kate with her boys.

The Jolene dress has since been maternity wear GOLD - there's not one expecting OR new mumma across the nation not trying to get their hands on this empire-line, knot detailing dress - in EVERY colour. Bravo Seraphine you've made it, big time.

After a flawless run of maternity style - she was glowing from the start - now we await Kate's post-baby look, we're thinking more signature chic, understated pieces fit for a young mum on the go.
