Abbey Confirmed To Add Glamour To 'Strictly'

Abbey Clancy has confirmed reports she has signed up for the new series of 'Strictly Come Dancing'.

The Liverpudlian model will join Countdown's Rachel Riley, 'BBC Breakfast' presenter Susanna Reid, broadcaster Vanessa Feltz and golfer Tony Jacklin, who have also confirmed to be taking part.

Abbey said that she was "so scared" as she took to Twitter to comment on her signing.

Meanwhile, 'Dragons' Den' star Deborah Meaden is also reported to have joined the BBC ballroom show.

Other rumoured contestants include fashion designer Julien Macdonald, singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor, 'Hairy Biker' David Myers, ex-'Corrie' actress Natalie Gumede, rugby player Ben Cohen and 'Hollyoaks' star Ashley Taylor Dawson.

The new series kicks off next Saturday on BBC One.
