WATCH: Britain's Biggest Burger Sends Our Heart Racing, Not In A Good Way

Just looking at the Britain's biggest burger from the comfort of our office in London is making our cholesterol rise.

The 25lb monster burger, includes a 20-inch bun, 4lb of cheese, 20 sliced tomatoes, a pound of salad leaves and enough beef to make one hundred quarter-pounders.

It's no surprise then that the burger racks up a total of 25,000 calories, which is a man's daily allowance for ten days and a woman's allowance for twelve.

But it's hardly your classic fast food burger, taking two whole hours to cook.

It is too big for a conventional frying pan so chefs had to heat it in an oven before carefully carrying it behemoth to a set of scales.

The unnamed mega-burger was created by chefs at JD's Grill in Plymouth, Devon, to smash the previous 24lb record holder.
