Stuntwoman Darelle Parker tweeted: "Great to be stunting again for Doctor Who in the Christmas special playing a Cyberman."

Matt's Time Lord will regenerate at Christmas into the 12th Doctor, who it was recently announced will be played by Peter Capaldi.

The Cybermen have been an enemy of Doctor Who since 1966, when they took on first Doctor William Hartnell.

In Matt's penultimate episode, due to air on November 23, he will mark the show's 50th anniversary by appearing alongside former Doctor David Tennant and his assistant Billie Piper, as well as guest stars John Hurt and Joanna Page.

Matt and his successor Peter were recently spotted having lunch together in London.
