The World's Greatest Wildlife Photographs Revealed In 'The Masters of Nature Photography' Book (PICTURES)

The World's Greatest Wildlife Photographs Revealed

A new book bringing together the work of 10 of the world’s greatest wildlife photographers for the first time is to be published by the Natural History Museum.

From the evocative artistry of Jim Brandenburg and Vincent Munier to the pioneering underwater photography of David Doubilet and Paul Nicklen, The Masters of Nature Photography illustrates how these influential artists see the natural world.

For each photographer there is a brief biography defining the essence of their art and what drives and inspires them. This is followed by a portfolio of the 10 images that each photographer considers most representative of their work – the career-changing photographs that showcase their vision and expertise.

The photographers are all past winners of the world-famous Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition.

The Masters of Nature Photography is released in hardback on 19 September 2013.

Take a look at just some of the stunning images that will appear in the new book in our gallery below.
