'X Factor': Former 'Xtra Factor' Host Olly Murs Refuses To Watch This Series As He'll Be Jealous Of Caroline Flack's New Co-Presenter, Matt Richardson

'I Won't Be Watching'

Former 'Xtra Factor' host Olly Murs is refusing to watch this year's series because he reckons he'll get too jealous of his old partner in crime, Caroline Flack presenting with her new co-host, Matt Richardson.

Olly fronted ITV2's 'X Factor' spin-off show with Flacko for two years but left after the last series to focus on his music and to tour with a certain Robbie Williams (more on him in a mo).

Speaking to 'Daybreak', Olly joked: “I told Caroline I’m refusing to watch the show, I’m going to be too jealous to see a new guy stood next to her.”

Olly was full of praise for his new mate Robbie Williams, who he supported at his recent stadium shows, saying it was 'a dream come true'.

"What you see is what you get with him," he said. "He’s a gent. He’s a top guy, he’s funny and brilliant to be around.”

And Olly - who got the chance to duet with Robbie when he made the 'X Factor' finals in 2009 as well as on his recent Take The Crown tour - hinted that they might even record together.

“You have to wait and see, that’s all I’m going to say," he teased. "Robbie would be a great person to write with. We could do a ‘Let Me Entertain You 2’!”
