Super Street Fighter II (Wii U) Review

Super Street Fighter II (Wii U) Review

Nintendo's Wii U won't be getting a new Street Fighter game any time soon, if Capcom is to be believed. But it has at least just got three old ones.

Street Fighter II: The World Warrior, Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting and Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers are all out now on the Wii U eShop, each costing £5.49.

The games are virtually identical to the originals, just with the benefit of off-screen play via the Gamepad, Miiverse support and restore point support.

As you'd expect the games are precisely the same as the were on the Super Nintendo - and each is very similar, with minor differences between the combos, characters and storylines offered.

Instead of a full review - these games are hugely fun, as ever, but not exactly new - take a look at the three videos above, featuring each of the Wii U titles. Then get practicing. Haduken!
