'The Voice UK' To Hire JLS Star Marvin Humes For Presenting Role Alongside Emma Willis

Which JLS Star Is Heading For 'The Voice'?

JLS star Marvin Humes is reportedly poised to become Reggie Yates' replacement on 'The Voice'.

The singer, who has recently completed a presenting stint on 'This Morning' with his wife Rochelle, is understood to be in the final stages of talks with the BBC but is still to officially sign a deal.

Marvin Humes could soon be back on TV

His addition would complete a change in the presenting line-up which has also seen Holly Willoughby replaced by 'Big Brother' presenter Emma Willis.

'The Voice' has also recruited Kylie Minogue as a coach following the departure of Jessie J and Danny O'Donoghue. A fourth judge - to sit alongside the returning Will.i.am and Sir Tom Jones - has still to be announced.

Marvin, 28, will bow out of JLS, whose hits include 'Everybody In Love' and 'She Makes Me Wanna', in the coming months as the band perform their farewell tour.

He is a veteran of TV talent contests himself, with the group finding fame in the 2008 series of 'The X Factor'.

A BBC source confirmed Marvin was "poised" to sign up to the show.

Marvin recently said he would like to do more TV work and would consider sharing the 'This Morning' sofa with Rochelle for another hosting stint.

"We both really enjoyed it, and working together was quite different. But we embraced it and it went really well so hopefully we'll get to do it again," said the JLS singer.

While his bandmates Jonathan 'JB' Gill, Aston Merrygold and Oritse Williams have been paving their paths away from the group, Marvin has been enjoying his stint as a Capital FM DJ and guest interviewer on 'Daybreak'.

"One of the reasons why we called it a day is because everybody has got their eye on different things they want to do," he said.

"I've always been fascinated by the music industry especially radio and I'm a DJ so it made sense that I got my own show on the biggest commercial radio station in the country. I'm loving every minute of it," he added.
