'EastEnders' Spoiler: Alice Branning To Leave Soap With A Fight During Michael Moon Exit Storyline

Unexpected 'EastEnders' Exit Planned For Alice

'EastEnders' is set to lose one of its most kind-hearted characters, as sweet Alice Branning is written out of the show.

Actress Jasmyn Banks, who was cast in the BBC One soap 18 months ago, will leave Albert Square as part of Michael Moon's (Steve John Shepherd) exit storyline.

But it doesn't look like Alice will leave peacefully in the back of a black cab.

The daughter of troublemaker Derek Branning, Alice was devastated when her dad died of a heart attack last Christmas.

Recently viewers saw her infatuation with twisted manipulator Michael Moon step up a notch as they finally got together, with Alice unaware she is simply a pawn in his game to get back at ex Janine and to get close to his daughter Scarlett.

The decision to write the 22-year-old's character out of the show came when Steve told bosses he was quitting after three years.

Jasmyn confirmed news of her 'EastEnders' exit on Twitter:
