Mario Balotelli's First Ever Penalty Vs Napoli (VIDEO)

Balotelli Fails To Score A Penalty At 22nd Time Of Asking

Mario Balotelli was denied from the penalty spot for the ever first time by Pepe Reina, as Napoli recorded their first win over AC Milan at San Siro in 27 years to go joint top of the Serie A table.

Diego Maradona was in the visiting team when Napoli last won this fixture in 1986 and South American pair Miguel Britos and Gonzalo Higuaín scored the goals to defeat Milan 2-1 on Sunday night.

However the game was most notable for Balotelli's failure to convert from 12 yards out.

One of the best penalty takers in world football, on-loan Liverpool goalkeeper Reina flicked Balotelli's second-half penalty wide to put paid to the striker's flawless record from the spot.

Balotelli, who netted the Rossoneri's consolation, had scored his previous 21 penalties.
