The Sun sparked outrage last night after it made a joke about an X Factor competitor, by referring to the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.
During its live coverage of last night's X Factor, the paper's social media account tweeted that singer Tamera Foster, who is currently embroiled in a shoplifting scandal after being caught stealing make-up from Boots, has not hindered her chances at winning the reality TV show.
