Jason Calvert, Stockport County Supporter Buried With His Boots On (PICTURE)

A practical joker has been buried with his boots sticking out of his coffin.

Builder Jason Calvert suffered a fatal brain haemorrhage earlier this month.

Funds for the £3,500 send-off were raised by supporters of Calvert’s home town football club – Stockport County – after it emerged the 40-year-old had no life insurance.

Revealing the family would have had to have taken out a loan to pay for the funeral, Calvert’s sister Joan McNulty told the Manchester Evening News: “Word cannot express how grateful I am I am that people would do this in a time of austerity, it brings back your faith in humanity.”
