To mark the release of BEING A BOY, James Dawson's new guide to being a teenager (Red Lemon Press) we've teamed up with VIRGIN EXPERIENCE DAYS to offer a winner a Survival and Bushcraft Weekend in Staffordshire - the perfect prize for a parent and teen, and the ultimate outdoor experience for anyone with a sense of adventure!
BEING A BOY is an ultra modern, irreverent guide to being a teenager - bridging the gap between what teachers can discuss in schools and what kids already know. After all, there are things that perhaps should be taught in schools but aren't - and some things are really hard for a parent to say!
The lucky winner and their guest will spend two nights in the wilderness, getting to know the outdoors and learning what it takes to survive without home comforts. They will be taught fundamental survival techniques by experienced bushcraft instructors, such as how to light a fire, build your own shelter, purify water, and how to catch your own meal!

One lucky winner will receive a VIRGIN EXPERIENCE DAYS Survival and Bushcraft Weekend for two people. The minimum age is 10 and under 18s must take an adult with them. The prize must be taken by November 1 2014. The winner and 10 runners up will also receive a copy of BEING A BOY.
