The early, early reviews of the PS4 are already in ahead of the US launch, and so far there's one clear stand-out game - and it's not one of Sony's big exclusives.
In fact, it's a game not too disimilar to those which might have launched an Atari or Amiga system back in the day.
Resogun is a decidedly retro shooter, which sees a player control a classic little space ship and try to blast their way to victory. But while its roots are in the old school, developers Housemarque have managed to make the game seem totally next-gen - largely through an incomprehensibly busy and fantastic palette of graphics.

It's going to be available via PSN at launch on 29 November - check out the newly released gameplay video below.
