BlackBerry Releases Special Edition Z10 Designed By Porsche

BlackBerry has no shortage of problems at the moment - but one thing it apparently doesn't lack is luxury-minded partners with whom to make especially expensive handsets.

BlackBerry has just announced a new version of the Z10 smartphone, designed in collaboration with Porsche.

The Porsche Design P'9982 smartphone - and its 'Crocodile' limited edition, of which only 500 will be sold - is aimed at very high-end consumers.

The P'9982 features a "customised version" of the BB10 operating system, a slightly modified design and a Porsche logo. It will be available at Harrods, Selfridges and, perhaps oddly given the price-tag, Carphone Warehouse.

Engadget reports that the phone will cost around £1,500, and will come with 64GB of storage instead of 16GB.

Take a look at the design, above and let us know - would you spend the equivalent of a small car on a BlackBerry?
