You might have noticed some sneering going on at the news of Hull scooping the prize of the UK's next city of culture.
Perhaps they're just jealous at what's to come, as millions are poured into the city for a year-long celebration of its arts and cultural scene.

According to the Hull Daily Mail: "Hull’s story has been one of steady progress, with people working hard at each stage to overcome any hurdle put in front of us. That grit and determination has now paid off but Hull’s is a story of aspiration."
Sadly, not everyone took the announcement as joyously as the Archbishop.
