England's vow of silence stems from the behaviour of the partisan Australian press.
After Michael Clarke excused saying "Get ready for a broken f*****g arm" to James Anderson as "banter", the Sydney Daily Telegraph has treated Jonathan Trott's departure insensitively.
Trott has returned to England due to a "stress-related illness", however the Telegraph's double-page splash was headlined, "Trott Does A Runner".

Australia opener David Warner labelled Trott "weak" and "poor" during the first Test, which angered Cook, who branded him "disrespectful".
Test Match Special commentator Geoffrey Boycott is also unimpressed by Warner, who generated criticism in the summer after he punched England's Joe Root during a night out in Birmingham.
"I think he's a bit gobby for someone who's only made a few centuries. You'd have thought he was Don Bradman," Boycott opined.
