The winner of the first series of 'The Apprentice', Tim Campbell, has revealed he battled testicular cancer last month.
The entrepreneur - who beat Saira Khan to work with Lord Sugar in 2005 - has told of how he found out he had the disease the day before men's cancer awareness initiative Movember began.

"On October 31, I got the call. It was confirmation that I had testicular cancer. I’d gone to see my doctor thinking it was just a normal ache and pain," he told the Evening Standard.
"There is a fear of the word. My wife was distraught as her mother had been diagnosed with breast cancer four years ago and my mum was devastated."

Tim was taken in for surgery two weeks later, and was back on his feet after just three days, hosting the National Apprenticeship Awards.
He has now been given the all clear.
"Cancer doesn’t have to be a death sentence," he said.
Tim has since been encouraging men to check themselves regularly, tweeting advice to his Twitter followers.
"Today reach out to a male close to you & potentially save their life Encourage them to self examine or go to doc to clarify any concerns," he wrote in one update.
