A 12-year-old boy has been crowned Drag Queen of his village in an annual contest.

Sticker, a small village in Cornwall has been running the drag queen contest for two years, after they found not enough girls were competing for Carnival Queen.

This year Redvers Stokes has won the coveted title in a figure-hugging pink number, big lipstick and Dolly Parton-style locks.

Redvers beat off stiff competition from other locals doing everything from Michael Jackson impressions to belting out Dolly Parton hits.

Known as Naughty Nora when in costume, Redvers now attends village events in full drag costume and make-up.

'I don't think there's anything wrong with it, I think it's really funny. And my friends think it's really cool,' he says.

'I've always been open to new things. I might like dressing up in women's clothes but I still like girls. It's just a little hobby of mine.'

Redvers' mum Georgia says she and her husband, Matthew, are chuffed their son has a hobby he loves: 'I couldn't be more proud. His Naughty Nora routine is very convincing. I've never been concerned. Redvers just loves being the centre of attention. He has no plans to make it a career.'

What do you think?

Clearly Redvers loves to dress up - much like our all time favourite embarrassing dad, Dale, who dresses up every day to wave his son off to school - see his best moments below...
