Paris Hilton Slams 'Stupid, Fake' Nelson Mandela Tweet Which Confused Him With Martin Luther King

Paris Hilton has slammed the "stupid fake tweet" in which she seemingly confused Nelson Mandela with Martin Luther King.

Soon after news broke of the death of the former South African president a tweet allegedly written by Paris emerged on Twitter account @DeletedTweets.

The post, which looked like a screenshot from Paris' Twitter profile, read: "RIP Nelson Mandela. Your 'I Have a Dream' speech was so inspiring. An amazing man."

Taking to Twitter to clear up any confusion she wrote:

Other strange Twitter reactions to the news of Mandela's death included people jokingly mistaking the inspirational leader with actor Morgan Freeman and British newsreader Trevor McDonald.
