Neville Brothers' Father Arrives For Sex Assault Trial

The father of former Manchester United and England defenders Gary and Phil Neville is due to go on trial accused of a sex assault.

Neville Neville, 63, is facing a single charge of sexually penetrating a woman with his finger when she did not consent.

The victim, aged 46, was allegedly assaulted by him on March 23 this year, in the Greenmount area of Bury, Greater Manchester.

Neville denies the offence.

As well as working as an agent for his sons, former Everton captain Phil and former Manchester United captain Gary - now an England coach and TV pundit - Neville Neville is a former director of League One side Bury FC.

Neville, of Larkfield Close, Bury, will go on trial, scheduled to last up to four days, starting later at Bolton Crown Court.
