This year has been pretty fabulous for the royal family, but it was the birth of Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge that was THE most happy-making day of all.
Then there was the royal christening, HM The Queen in all her finest for the State Opening of Parliament, Royal Ascot, the numerous fashion faux pas from Princess B and Eugenie - and let's not forget Prince Harry's South Pole venture. God, he's like action man with an in to the crown jewels.
The Duchess of Cambridge's pregnancy style was flawless throughout (from the Breton stripes right through to the re-worn, re-loved Temperley gowns) and even non-official royals like Pippa Middleton and Cressida Bonas continued to make headlines. Yes the is-she-isn't-she-engaged saga and Cressida's denim wares a la Glasto.
