Dermot O'Leary could be swapping Saturday nights for early mornings after reportedly being lined up to present 'Daybreak'.
The 'X Factor' host is in the running to replace Aled Jones on the ITV breakfast show, according to reports.
The Mirror reports that the 40-year-old star is being chased by TV bosses after Eamonn Holmes reportedly turned down the offer to present the troubled show.
An insider told paper: “The mission to hire new blood continues apace. Daybreak is a big problem.
"Dermot may have no breakfast experience, but he’s a favourite with ITV chiefs.”
Lorraine Kelly is also rumoured to be leaving 'Daybreak' in a shake-up of the breakfast show in a bid to improve viewing figures.
Earlier this month, it was confirmed that Dermot would be guest hosting 'This Morning'.
The star will front the ITV daytime show for a week in January with Holly Willoughby while usual host Phillip Schofield is away.
