There's no denying it: after losing 130lbs in just 12 months, Lucas looks incredible. And pretty unrecognisable.
His dramatic transformation, which was achieved by restricting his daily intake to 1350 calories and walking 5 miles to work per day, saw him drop from 300lbs to 170lbs in just under one year.
His weight loss was matched only by his family's reaction, who upon seeing the slighter Lucas for the first time, were unable to say much, apart from repeating the words: "Oh My God!"
But how did he shed the pounds so easily? Lucky for us Lucas shared his secrets on Reddit:
"95% of it was done through nothing but a 1350 calorie limit per day. No foods were off limit, but I survived mostly on tuna salad, chicken with salsa, frozen vegetables, beans and rice, turkey/roast beef sandwiches, spinach, and eggs. After I lost 100 pounds I started walking to work (5 miles) for about 2 months until it got too cold outside. The 'fat' picture was taken may of 2012, but I didn't actually start losing until december 27th of 2012, so it took me just shy of 1 year."
